Big Bang 750
Overview
The Big Bang 750 is an accelerated weight drop seismic source designed for reliable, high-speed, low-cost seismic surveying. Built for high-production mobile acquisition, the system provides fast cycle time and best-in-class move-up time to help reduce field costs and improve production.
The Big Bang 750 provides a full spectrum of useful high and low frequency seismic energy. It includes a handheld controller with 30 feet of wire so the operator can run the system from within the tow vehicle.
The system uses a reliable Honda GX390 four-stroke gasoline power plant with electric start and oil alert. Energy is stored in eight common garage door springs, which are low cost and reliable. With onboard brakes and street legal lights, the Big Bang 750 can move safely down the highway at lane speed.
