Overview

Force 3 is Seismic Source’s vibrator control system for all vibroseis sources. It is designed to control individual vibrators or synchronize entire fleets of trucks using GPS, VHF, or UHF radio timing.

Force 3 starts the vibrator and controls its sweep with high precision and accuracy. It includes advanced ADC electronics, increased computing power, GPS source positioning, internal memory for VSS and PSS data storage, integrated Wi-Fi, and Ethernet control through SourceLink.

The system supports integrated fleet operation and autonomous operation. Crews can use integrated mode for multiple fleets of multiple units, or autonomous mode for vibrators operating in rough or remote terrain without radios or repeaters.

Force 3 is compatible with small vibrators, legacy vibrators, and newer vibrators. It also supports P-wave and shear-wave vibrator operations.
