Uphole Simulator
Overview
The Uphole Simulator is a compact test tool designed for checking dynamite blasters in the shop or field. It connects directly to the blaster high-voltage output and the uphole geophone input, allowing crews to verify blaster response without needing a live uphole geophone test.
When the blaster fires, the Uphole Simulator sinks the output voltage, waits 30 milliseconds, and then outputs an analog waveform that simulates the signal a blaster would receive from an actual geophone. After another 32 milliseconds, it outputs a second square-wave signal to simulate a digital response.
The UHS is small, rugged, battery powered, and simple to use with only two connections. It works with the original Boom Box, Boom Box 3, Shot Pro, Shot Pro II, and Shot Pro HD systems.
