M6
Overview
The M6 Dual Accelerometer is a high precision, high reliability accelerometer designed for vibroseis source monitoring and control applications. Built for demanding seismic field environments, the M6 provides accurate response, rugged overrange protection, and stable operation across a wide temperature range.
With built-in damping, overrange stops, temperature compensation, and internal RF shielding, the M6 is designed to provide dependable acceleration measurements while protecting the sensor from harsh source conditions. The sensor can withstand forces up to 2000 G without damage, making it well suited for vibroseis trucks and field QC systems.
The M6 provides dual accelerometer outputs for loop and similarity measurements, supporting accurate vibrator monitoring, control feedback, and source quality control.
