Overview

The M7 Sercel Compatible Accelerometer is a rugged dual accelerometer designed as a compatible upgrade for the Sercel AS2 accelerometer. It provides increased dynamic range, soft clipping, moisture protection, EMI protection, and a mounting bolt water release design to help reduce rusting in demanding vibroseis field environments.

The M7 uses dual independent accelerometers for quality assurance and is designed to withstand severe source conditions. It can handle up to 2000 G without damage while maintaining accurate response across its compensated operating range.

With differential output, built-in test capability, short circuit protection, and input polarity protection, the M7 is built for reliable vibrator monitoring, source control, and field QC applications.
